MY OPINION: *****

This was yet another amazing book by Cassandra Clare. It was geared for much older readers than the first three, but it still has the same action and drama that the previous books in the series have had. It ended in a cliffhanger and makes you want to read the fifth book. It is a book that makes you want to read more and more until you have read for many hours and you look up and find that you have spent the day reading.

It was full of action and romance. It was also very violent at some points, and the ending was a bit creepy, but also interesting. I love how this book changes points of views, though I felt like there wasn't enough Clary shown. It was mainly focused on Simon, although there were parts told from Jace, Alec, and Magnus' point of views, along with other minor characters.

I would definitely recommend this book to high-schoolers, and mature middle-schoolers. Overall, this book deserves an A+!
