The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde - UPDATED REVIEW

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde  Genre : Classics Blurb (on back of book) : Oscar Wilde’s only novel is the dreamlike story of a young man who sells his soul for eternal youth and beauty. In this celebrated work Wilde forged a devastating portrait of the effects of evil and debauchery on a young aesthete in late-19th-century England. Combining elements of the Gothic horror novel and decadent French fiction, the book centers on a striking premise: As Dorian Gray sinks into a life of crime and gross sensuality, his body retains perfect youth and vigor while his recently painted portrait grows day by day into a hideous record of evil, which he must keep hidden from the world. For over a century, this mesmerizing tale of horror and suspense has enjoyed wide popularity. It ranks as one of Wilde's most important creations and among the classic achievements of its kind. FEBRUARY IS OVER

*TEARS*

February is my favorite month. Regretfully, it is also a short month. However, I think I did pretty well, considering that I didn't have those last three days for reading.

I'm still 2 books ahead of my Goodreads challenge, which is good. I'm going to try to make it 3 or 4 by the next couple of months. That way, I can reach 129 or maybe even 130+! I'm trying to at least hit 125 and I think it can be done!

I read a LOT of great books this month, but considering the fact that it's the month of love, I didn't really read too many romance novels. That is why in March, be ready for the ROMANCE NOVEL EXTRAVAGANZA

Plus some other books on the side

February was eventful. I reached another birthday and am now another year older. I started a lot of new books and started writing a new novel, after finishing one.

I think things have been going pretty great. I started a rants blog and I would love it if you would check it out!

That's all I have to say. Goodbye February! Hello March!!
